Meet Saral...'The Angel of New Delhi." Each day, Saral serves the needy in some of poorest slums in India. He serves from his heart, whether by providing meals, shoes for children on a hot day, blankets in the cold of winter, or those in need of a simple smile.

"Saral was my inspiration for starting LOTUS Humanitarian," says founder Anya Yeager. "I have never been more touched by the altruism of a person. Saral makes me want to love everyone and everything the way that he does." It was natural and fitting that we made him our Global Ambassador for India.

You can help support Saral's work with the poorest of the poor with less than a dollar a day. Every penny goes to those in need. Some of Saral's goals in conjunction with LOTUS are to purchase a van which will allow him to serve more people by transporting the large pots of lentils he takes into the slums along with his helpers. Additionally, we are saving to fund the LOTUS School for girls who would not otherwise have access to education. Your donation of any amount will go towards the purchase of land and building materials.
